M5 toll waiver for men and women of the Australian Defence Force on ANZAC Day

As in previous years, any veteran, Defence personnel and family member or representative using the M5 South West Motorway to travel to ANZAC day services and events will not have to pay the M5 toll on 25 April 2010.

The toll waiver period will commence at 12am on Sunday April 25 2010 and will end at midnight on the same day.

In order to have your toll waived, motorists wearing military medals or military uniform should travel through the cash lanes only at the Hammondville toll plaza. If using the ramps at Henry Lawson Drive, River Road or Fairford Road, motorists should also use the cash lane in order to have a toll waived. Press the red button when you reach the booth to speak with a motorway controller.
