As E-way® allows motorists to drive through toll plazas without stopping, special express lanes have been constructed to ensure vehicles moving at speed are not hindered by vehicles stopping to pay tolls.

When travelling on the M5 with an E-way® tag always remember to:

1. Get into the right hand lanes well before arriving at the toll plaza.
2. Stay in your lane. You should not cross the unbroken white line separating lanes at the main toll plaza.
